The Langkawi Restaurant for Local & Western Food
From our Nyonya Laksa that takes more than 12 hours to prepare, to our other local dishes that are slow-cooked the traditional way over a charcoal fire, we don’t take any shortcuts when it comes to the food we serve. Which is probably why so many consider us one of the best places to eat in Langkawi. If you’re looking for a Langkawi restaurant that has a great mix of Malaysian and Western food on its menu, look no further. And yes, we even make our own burgers and ice cream.
fatCUPID began as a tribute to our Grandmother, our all-time favourite cook. As the best place to eat in Langkawi, any of the Nyonya recipes featured on our menu come from her recipe book that has been passed down through the generations in our family. And along the way, we’ve even picked up some Malay heritage recipes from the local chefs we’ve come to know.
Like many Malaysians who studied abroad in Australia, we developed a taste for Aussie cuisine. So we’ve included some of our favourite comfort foods on the menu, both to remind us of our time abroad and to also serve the kids of all ages who frequently drop in. In fatCUPID Langkawi restaurant, we are the best place to eat in Langkawi. We provide some stylish specials mostly featuring Langkawi’s fresh seafood—perfect with a glass of wine or your favourite cocktail!
